Getting to Complete Confidence in Church Finance

…while keeping the main thing the main thing

If your church is in a challenging situation with the finances consider our one-day Church Finance Training Day, where we will thoroughly discuss the financial health of your church and start developing a plan with actionable items to work towards a better situation.

This particular Church Finance Training Day is designed for Diocese of London clergy. We also offer an online version for lay leadership including wardens, treasures, and council members, if that is of interest.

When you have signed up, you will receive a short questionnaire to help us customise the course to your needs.

On the day, you will receive a comprehensive overview of various church finance issues. We will focus on what is relevant for you specifically, and you will leave with the contours of a plan.

Successful implementation of that plan will require steady, ongoing attention and engagement. We can partner with you to assist you to implement the plan. To that end, you will each receive 1 hour of coaching following the course.

Meet Your Host

Paul Vrolijk

Church finance is one of those areas where the practical and the spiritual meet. Church finance should be in service of ministry and mission, but in many places it is a serious obstacle which generates plenty of frustration and challenge. This should not be the case.

My name is Paul Vrolijk. I am an Anglican priest with nearly 20 years of parish ministry in various contexts. I have also been an Archdeacon. When it comes to church finance I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. Church finance (including regular giving) can look very complex, but practical steps can be taken to make it all more manageable. On this Church Finance Training Day I am looking forward to sharing various strategies and tips with you to make your life a lot easier.

At Christilience we are committed to serve faith-based professionals with Christilience coaching so that you can rediscover your passion, increase your impact and deepen your care.

Testimonial

Clive Atkinson, Rector of Willowfield Parish Church, Belfast

I have been working with Paul since the beginning of 2024 addressing complex issues around leadership, staff team management, building projects, and fundraising…Paul's experience both in business and in church leadership has been invaluable in helping me understand the dynamics of leadership, be strategic in my thinking, see potential solutions and plan a step by step way forward. In fact, if I am honest, working with Paul has restored hope in the face of some challenging times. I highly recommend him to any one in church leadership.
